The purple stripe is for "Discipline"! Yep, you read it right! Ian earned a purple stripe in karate class for good discipline!

We had a wonderful time at the Dallas World Aquarium

last Saturday night, 21 June.
Scott's company organized a fun, family event

for it's employee's, we had the whole place all to ourselves!

This summer Ian's school/daycare has a ton of events planned

for the Pre-K class. So far they have gone to the Ft. Worth Zoo, had a picnic in Central Park, Lewisville, 'Splash Day" every Friday, and yesterday they brought in a face painter! Ian looks pretty cool if you ask me!

New Critter in our backyard!

We can add this guy to the list of visitors in our backyard, along with the rabbits, squirrels, blue jays, cardinals, and a cat or two every now and then. Keeps Tiki on his toes!

BTW - the photos below are of me and my friend, Heidi. Heidi used to be my next door neighbor, she moved to Austin. We have MANY reasons to visit Austin!
